I thought it was nothing but cosmetic and position altering for your familiars but it completely breaks if you have the item Guillotine! Because Guillotine turns your head into an orbital familiar, the Duct Tape affects that too.

I came up with this idea as well a while ago and still think it can be amazing. You play then and then you eventually unlock "J&E now hold duck tape." And when they start they have the trinket and all it does is it makes it where they cannot be separated unless you hold the button to do so and right when you let go they sprint back together.
